Before downloading any programs onto the Cerebellum, connect power from the DC adapter to the Cerebellum and turn the Cerebellum on - the red LED should light up, and the other LEDs may flash.

To begin downloading compiled programs onto the Cerebellum, follow the following instructions:

• Install the downloading utility, Teacher, from the downloads section, and follow the installation instructions.
• Check the firmware by running the information command. If it is the latest version, 1.03d, you are ready to begin downloading. If not, go to the firmware update section and follow the instructions to update the firmware. If the Cerebellum does not respond with a firmware version, check the serial connection and settings.
• Download our test program, cereb10-flash.hex to your computer.
• Program your Cerebellum with cereb10-flash.hex using Teacher's program command. Once downloading is complete, the Cerebellum will be running ledflash, alternately flashing the yellow and green LEDs.
